Katrina Kaif, who is presently miffed with the media, is back in news, and again for the wrong reason.
If reports are to be believed, the British beauty has irked Yash Raj scion Aditya Chopra by declining ‘Gunday’. Apparently, Katrina Kaif laid a few conditions before taking the offer, which did not go down well with the Yash Raj Films honcho.
Reportedly, Reportedly, Katrina was the initial choice for Gunday. But the actress is said to have wanted a big star to be roped in the film and wasn’t too keen on acting opposite Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
Says a source, “He couldn’t believe that she would lay down conditions in front of him. He coldly told Kat he didn’t need her in the film and went ahead and signed her arch rival. After that he has cooled off Kat.”
Comparatively, when a bigger star than Katrina, Priyanka Chopra was offered the same role, the actress took it up happily, something that made Kat’s tantrum look all the more high-strung.
Already Aditya was not too happy with Katrina’s refusal to don a bikini in Dhoom 3. Now, her tantrums have caused her to get into more trouble with the filmmaker.
Katrina had earlier worked under the YRF banner in films like Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, New York and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
Neither Katrina nor YRF have spoken about the falling-out.
